With more than 30 years in the business, Brock Sherman has become a pillar of the creative community in Denver while gaining national recognition for 4K HDR video production, live streaming and effective storytelling.
You cannot survive this long, in this business, without wearing a lot of hats, and over the years Brock has proven his skills as an editor, animator, producer, creative director and now, an established filmmaker.
After graduating from Western Michigan University in 1992 (BS/Film Studies), Brock grabbed his snowboard and headed west, to Colorado, and has been working in TV and film production ever since.
His early days were spent producing and directing daily newscasts and live, national events for TCI-TV, which was one of the largest telecommunication companies in the country at the time.
In the late 1990s, Brock worked on a series of national pay-per-view (PPV) events such as Showtime Boxing and Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).  He then landed his first big agency job as graphics supervisor for local corporate media giant, BVP Media, Inc. in the Denver Tech Center.
After a few years of honing his creative and client skills in the agency arena, Brock went out on his own, forming Runaway Train Productions, Ltd.  This firmly established his brand in the Denver market and also opened the door for a global client base including companies like Comcast, AJA Video Systems, and General Motors.
Runaway Train quickly became a local powerhouse, and Brock became the go-to for every high-end production in town, consistently delivering creative quality above and beyond client expectations.
In 2014, Runaway Train was dissolved and re-focused into what is now called Brock Creative, Ltd; a new vision for the future of digital media, built on the same principles and work ethic that has driven three decades of success. Today it’s about focus, optics, and delivering unparallel value, with each and every project delivered.
Whether it’s a pro-bono production for the Global Down Syndrome foundation or a 4K national presentation, with Brock Creative, you can rest assured that your project will receive the attention of a true craftsman, and the dedication that can only come from thirty years of experience solving creative problems, one client at a time.
In his spare time, Brock enjoys snowboarding, fishing, reading and e-biking. He is an avid sports fan and concertgoer and enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his dogs, Stogie, Remi, and Charlie. He currently lives in St. Johns, Florida.
